My Photography

When I lived in Sydney I used to enjoy wandering the streets of the inner city and discovering new places and little nooks and crannies. But I felt a bit like a wino wandering around without any purpose, so I took up photography to justify my strange habit to myself.

Later, when I went to art school, I went with the intention of studying photography. But after trying sculpture in first year I suddenly thought, "What have I been doing all these years?" So I ended up majoring in sculpture.

I still get enormous pleasure from photography though, and at the moment I am slowly documenting some of the historical sites around the Shoalhaven. On the sidebar you'll find a link to some of my photos of the Yalwal gold fields as well as some photos I took for my fine arts course.
