This one has less text, fewer pictures and some sections left off entirely. Here you can meet some of my real life friends and a few of my on line aquantences. Some are very nice people, some amusing perhaps a bit strange, strangely interesting, not to mention quite entertaining. If you like Victorian houses, parrots and dogs, stay for a while. I only have two Mini-Schnauzers, 3 parrots and 5 parakeets (blue, yellow, albino, emerald green, smoky, and I would like a lavender parakeet. That will be the last. My neighbors love me (sure they do). They are very patient with this strange northerner who has dogs, babysits dogs and walks out the back door with a parrot on her shoulder. I was not allowed to have pets when I was a child, so I am making up for it now. I was born in Ohio, USA. After marriage we moved to North Carolina where I was faced with cultural shock.......liver mush, cheese grits, and an entirely different way of living. NO SNOW !! I am thankful every day for my long time and best friend Carol F. She is generous in every way, always there, always ready to listen, never judging. Carol accepts me as I am - the good and the bad. I am blessed to have her for a friend. She has been here through the sad and happy times, maybe not close in miles, but still there. What would I do without her? Thank you to Steamer who can cheer up my worst days, and DEA, my friend (?) and self-appointed psychologist. DEA knows me way, way too well, and drops bombs instead of bullets. He takes delight in raising my blood pressure into the danger zone. We still haven't found time to have a Coke together. Bud is special.
