---Bardock - Bardock is
the father of Goku. We see him in flashbacks of DBZ and also in the DBZ
Special, Bardock : The Father of Goku. He is a low-class Saiya - Jin
warrior who is given the power to see the future. After getting this power
he tries to stop the destruction of his planet by killing Freezer, but he is far
too weak and is killed in a huge blast.
---Burorii - Burorii is the
"Legendary Super Saiya - Jin". His goal is to kill Goku ever
since Goku made him cry when they were both very young. Burorii only
appears in three of the DBZ Movies, and never makes an appearance during the
series. He is killed with the combined powers of the Z Warriors.
---Gohan - Gohan is the son of
Goku. He is rather small during the first episodes of Dragonball Z.
Even in the early episodes of DBZ he shows tremendous power, and later becomes
one of the strongest characters in the whole DBZ universe. Gohan is able
to go SSJ2 and is the one who kills Cell during the Cell Games, even though Mr.
Satan takes the credit. He later marries Mr. Satan's daughter, Videl, and
has a daughter named Pan.
---Goku - Goku is the main
character of Dragonball Z. He is the son of Bardock, and is sent to the
Earth as a child from his home planet Vegeta. Once on Earth he is found by
a kind old man named Gohan, who cares for him until he dies due to an incident
involving Goku transforming into Oozaru form. When Goku is older, he
marries Chi - Chi, and later has two children, Gohan and Goten. He dies
during both the battle with Raditz and the battle with Cell.
---Goten - Goten is the son of
Goku. He grows up after his father's death in the Cell Games. We
first meet him in the Buu saga, or the Great Saiyaman saga in America. He
has extraordinary power for a young boy, and is able to go SSJ. Later on he
in DBGT he is a carefree teenager who wants nothing more than to pick up
chicks. Cool, eh?!?
---Nappa - Nappa is Vegeta's
personal guard. He has been with Vegeta all his life. Early on in
DBZ Nappa goes with Vegeta to planet Earth to wish for immortality, but after
killing Tien, Chaozu, and Piccolo, Goku is able to stop him. Vegeta
appears to be helping him up, but instead throws him into the air and blasts
him. Vegeta kills Nappa again in DBGT during the Super 17 saga when he
comes back from hell.
---Pan - Pan is the daughter of
Gohan, and the granddaughter of Goku. She is a very powerful ally during
DBGT, though she never goes SSJ. She has a pet robot that does her
biddings.
---Raditz - Raditz is the first
son of Bardock, and one of the lone survivors of the planet Vegeta's end.
Raditz is the brother of Goku. He goes to Earth to get Kakarot to join
him, but Kakarot refuses. He is later killed by Piccolo's Special Beam
Cannon attack, along with him Kakarot is killed as well holding onto him.
---Trunks - Personally my favorite
character, Trunks is the son of Vegeta, the prince of the Saiya - Jins.
Trunks has a miserable life growing up because the Androids have completely
destroyed his world. He travels back in time to change the history.
After all has been changed, he travels back to his original timeline and kills
both Android 17 and 18, as well as Cell.
---Turlis - Turlis only appears in
the DBZ movie The Tree of Might. He comes and plants the tree in
the Earth, but is killed by Goku in the end of the movie thanks to the help of
Gohan transforming into Ozzuru form and finished off with Goku's Spirit Bomb
(Genki Dama) attack.
---Vegeta - Vegeta is the prince
of all Saiya - Jins. He grows up seeing the destruction of his
planet. Once adult, he travels to Earth to make a wish with their
Dragonballs. He is defeated by Goku, and later ends up being the father of
Trunks. He joins the Z Warriors after a long time. He has a bad
attitude, and is often cruel at most times. That is why he is so freaken
cool :)
