Hi! I'm Margaret, but I am better known as BBWswan to my chat friends. I am a 35 year old from Western Washington. I work as a nanny by day and attend college at night, majoring in Social Service/Mental Health, and am a member of Phi Theta Kappa. I am very proud to be a big beautiful woman, and I believe that both men and women should feel good about themselves, no matter what size they are. I have a neuromuscular disease called Charcot-Marie-Tooth (CMT). Other than not being able to stand or walk a lot, I try not let the disease effect my daily life... It is just something that I have lived with all my life.  I will continue to deal with it as it progresses, and just keep smiling... :) I would love to hear from anyone else who has CMT, or knows someone who does. For those who would like more information on CMT, I have recently found a wonderfully informative email list called CMTUS.  If you have CMT or know a friend or family member who does, please check it out!

     I spend most of my extra time surfing the web, playing games at Pogo, or or playing Sims2.  Some of my other interests include reading, drawing, painting watercolors (You can see some of my artwork here), photography, playing fantasy sports (especially baseball), shooting pool, swimming, watching movies and TV. I love sitcoms because I love to laugh, as well as reality TV, travel and home decorating shows.  My husband introduced me to my newest love ~ classic cars.  I enjoy attending car shows with him and surfing the web to learn all I can about my dream car, a '32 Ford Sedan, and about classic cars in general.  I also love to travel, even if it's just a day trip around the beautiful Pacific Northwest.

     I am married to the most incredible man I know. I met Anthony (known as ARB in chat) in the BBWlounge in Talk City.  What started off as a wonderful friendship with a faceless stranger has turned into the most loving relationship imaginable.  We were married April 22, 2000 at the Little Chapel of the Flowers in Las Vegas, and no, Elvis was not there... well, unless you count the Elvis lip Anthony gave me during our vows... hehehe.  

     I am always looking to make new friends.  I am the type of person who makes lemonade when life hands me lemons, and I like to surround myself with people who are the same way ~ optimists with great senses of humor.

     I have added some new pics to the first page of my photo album, as well as a couple newly scanned pics from our wedding.
