here....the miscellany gets dumped. stuff that don't belong anywhere else, silly stuff, junk collections from the web, karaoke recordings, etc....

below are some mp3 files which i had the courage to record myself when i was a little drunk. some people become jerks when drunk....but i am a happy drunk :-) without being a drunk..

so go ahead--you can have some fun at my expense....

just one request--please be kind!

and in turn you have my word--that i am not going to change my profession anytime soon!

TIP: you will need an mp3 player like windows media player in order to hear these songs. if you can't get windows media player to work, download this free player called winamp. if your pc or player can not handle streaming media, try downloading the file by right-clicking on the link below and selecting "save target as..." and save it on your desktop.

"Faced with crisis, the man of character takes it (unto) himself..." - Charles de Gaulle, former General and President of France

Wild World

  •    one of the first songs, by Cat Stevens that i learned to play on the guitar....my younger days, time was when there was just too much time for do-overs,  when we all thought the good times was never going to end, and that we were among the fortunate ones who are going to live forever!

Color My World

  •    ah yes...chicago, you have come to bring an end to my wild world.... you came to tame wildness, chaos to order, living from moment to moment to eternity, b/w monochrome into kodachrome technicolor.... color me blue when i'm not with you.... brown when you wear a frown.

Somewhere Over The Rainbow -- What a Wonderful World

  •    i used to think of these two songs as "fufu-romantic", totally old-school, and could only be appreciated by people who have grown old and are running out of time (or just trying to get into heaven).... twenty years later, i find that to be true which is a surprise in itself because not very many youthful impressions turn out to be true....yes? so now i find myself singing a medley of both! but hey! at least there's somewhat of a reggae beat to it, you'll see--i mean could you ever imagine getting stoned otherwise?<lol> but seriously, now they've come to express my outlook in life--can you believe it? i might as well look forward to when somebody would come to shoot me to put me out of my misery....but guess what? the medley was chosen by two movies to be in its soundtrack....couldn't be that bad after all--how many songs, medleys in particular could claim that honor?
  •    i feel like Anthony Hopkins in the movie "Meet Joe Black"...but i would have rather played  Brad Pitt....but then i was Sean Connery in "Finding Forrester"....

Joel's Song

  •    with apologies to kenny loggins who sang this version of Danny's Song.... and i recall having the same feelings the day my son, joel, was born....nothing more to say.

Just The Way You Are

  •    no need to impress me. no fancy clothes, no CFM shoes.  i love you just the way you are. in your birthday suit.
