Sigaw ng Bayan, is Montreal's only talk show catering to the hot-topics concerning the Filipino community of today. The show discusses current events, history and anything the community wants to hear. From politics, food, to balikbayan boxes, Sigaw ng Bayan is MUFASA's forum for you to voice your opinions about the Philippines, and the current issues and events we face every day.

Hi everyone! Its Marie, one of the co-founders of MUFASA,past president,and host of the radio show Sigaw Ng Bayan(Shout of the People) on CKUT 90.3FM...

Please keep me informed about your latest projects(my twin sister May and I are always willing to help with the Pista Sa Nayon!)..Im emailing to ask your members if they are interested in volunteering at the station every Friday from 2-3PM...

No experience necessary,all training provided by the volunteers and staff at the station!We're looking for:

• people to read the latest news&weather from Manila
• Act as technical assistants (i.e. PUTTING US ON-AIR while we're in studio!)
• Research topics for the upcoming shows
• Conduct interviews with members of the community
• Take part in discussions on issues facing Filipinos (i.e. identity, education, jobs, family, separation, culture, etc.)
• On Sigaw Ng Bayan, anything goes!!! We've been on-air for about 6 years, and have a stable following (lots of non-Filipinos too, plus callers from Vancouver, Vermont, Florida, and the Philippines!)
