THE LEADERS OF EXPLORER POST 209
DOUG ROSER; LIEUTENANT
BRIAN VANAUKEN; PRESIDENT (Not Pictured)

WHAT DOES EXPLORER POST 209 DO?

The explorers of post 209 are all here to do one thing...and that is to learn how to help the community. Some are in the post to pursue a career in fire fighting, others to a pursue a lifetime of volunteering in the fire service.  This is a great way to get introduced to the service. All explorers attend the weekly training sessions with the members of the Moyers Corners Fire Department to get professional, hands-on training. All explorers respond to their assigned station for alarms and assist with anything that is needed.

TIMES WE MEET

Weekly training is held on the 1st, 2nd, 4th, and 5th (if applicable) Thursday of each month.
There is also a mandatory monthly business meeting held once a month, which is held at 1800 hours
the 3rd Monday of each month, at Station #4.
