ABOUT ME
Depending on my mood and circumstances, I'm a photographer, model, seamstress, history buff, webpage designer, and editor. I even dabble in graphic design. "Dabble" being the key word. I'm pursuing photography and modeling as careers.
I love photographing "Old things". (I'm endlessly fascinated by old buildings, cars, clothes, bridges, furniture, lamps, etc, etc.) I would like to experiement more using models, vintage clothes/historic costumes, and settings to capture look of the past, such as 1920s/1930s glamor, Renaissance paintings, 1800s deguerrotypes...
I love historical costuming because of the combination of history, research and working with my hands (and *ahem* playing dress up). I have far too much fun planning and researching, so I'm prone to having many more "concepts" than finished costumes. Especially since some health setbacks have made sewing more dfficult than in the past.
I am my own most available model, so I have an inordinate number of self-portraits. I also model for photographer friends.
Also. I have no pets. I love Halloween, purple and clothes...and shoes...and purses.
