Online Gaming

The Zone	MSN Zone or simply the Zone. Is a large gaming matching service for retail games. They also host a number of free multiplayer games playable without any additional software, just your web browser running java.
Heat.Net	Heat is another large matching service for retail games. You can access most matching free, however if you what full use of their services you better pony up the monthly fee.
GameSpy Arcade	I've mentioned this elsewhere in this site. However since it is also a matching service for games I thought it best to re-mention it again.
Pogo	Pogo is kind of  like the Zone, however it doesn't offer any matching services. They are all about the java based games. If your bored online; then play a game here.
Slingo	Similar name similar service; to Pogo. They offer a large number of java based games as well. Prizes you can cash your tokens in for can get you actual cash.
Net Games	This is another matching service that I stumble across browsing the web.
Mud Connector	Any one remember the old bullet board games. Actually the early internet days. A MUD or MUSH is a Multiplayer User Dungeon; basically an all text role-playing game. The are many genre of this type of game and servers for this style. Mud connector has listings of many of these some free some not. BTW mud's work using telnet, which is a function of IE however you can download and use client software like Z-mud.
Conquest and Destiny	This game is still pre-alpha, and may be for a while yet. They just moved and updated the site so the forums are still pretty new and fresh. Give it a look and some feed back and maybe you can say you helped in making that game.
Velocity Games	This is part of my local ISP and further more the place were I play Counter Strike and some other games on there servers. Check them out....
RRGC	When living in upstate New York this is the group that held some big and awesome LAN weekends.
