THE AWAKENED SOUL
When Life suddenly leaps down the deepest mire...
And Life's colors seem to vanish that no one could admire,
And not a love dance can be foreshadowed with a lyre!
When one's heart's token seem to languish in dismay,
And nothing is left to unwind the vanquished from affray,
That nobody seem to behold the Heart's token with constant allay,
And not a single cent to assuage the Forlorn's enamored defray!
When the feat for sanity seem to falter after long struggles,
And lucidity seem to vanish after an emasculated foibles,
That no human rationality could defy morbidly mortal scruples,...
And innate understanding of things seem to wane in gaggles!
