my story: a long journey...

I was born in King Fahad Hospital, Saudi Arabia. My mother is Marilou Urbi. She was a workaholic nurse and I know she had many sacrifices just to support our family. She's my role model together with my father. My father is Rene Millan. He was a chemist. I taught I will follow his footsteps, to become an engineer someday. But anyway, I learned a lot in this course, I met some true friends here and I learn to love my course.

Every year, my parents came back to the Philippines for vacation. We usually received many "pasalubongs" to them. We usually went to the beach. Time is counting too fast; days are really stepping fast forward. After six long years playing around and always hanging out, this time I will enter into a world where my mind will be challenged and inculcate the necessary needs to become a good citizen of God and in the eyes of my country. My most memorable moment in my life is when I was in childhood days with my cousins and siblings. Everytime I had my vacation, I always remember the foolish things we've done and just laugh at it afterwards and then says: "Ang babaw pala nun noh, hehe." When I was in elementary, we used to fight with our “mortal enemy” in our barangay. Do you know Power Rangers? That's our team name since then when we are in elementary. We make also our own weapons based on the TV-series of Power Rangers. We are six, so there were two Pink Rangers in our group. We had also our own territory in our barangay. We used to compete them in games and then in return, the lost ones will give what the two groups dare the price of the winner will be. Most of the time, we won the game and then shared the prize to our house or to my cousin's house. By the way, let me tell the name of my cousins. First, of course my first cousin. Emerito Domingo, Jr. He is now studying at University of Santo Tomas; the big boy of the group. He used to be the nicest lad of the group and he has no enemies in our barangay because of his jolly personalities.

Even if I am older than him, he is much taller. Then the brother and sister Israel and Morena Tolentino, my third cousins. They were both studied at Saint Paul from primary to high school. Israel Tolentino is now studying at PSBA QC and Morena Tolentino is now studying at Quezon City Medical Center. "Makuwela tong dalawang to." Sometimes, they were the big boss of our group. They were the ones who plan where and when will be our next trip. They also provide transportation when we go to the beach (usually), so we were not hard up to look for our rides, hehehe. Finally, Angelica Fe Madayag, the chubby one in our group. She is a funny person and have a lotof jokes stuck in her mind. She is now studying at PSBA Manila. Every mid-week of May, we usually go to the field to get some blackberries and mangoes. It's very fun and interesting. You can see the beach at the peak of the mountains; you can really felt relax and comfortable there. We were tired afterwards but when we realized and remembered the memories we have gained, it’s the best. I studied primary at The Magsingal South Central School in San Julian, Ilocos Sur. I was very happy during these days because almost all of my cousins, friends were studying there. I have many happy and sad memories in this school. I studied high school at Saint William's Institute. I was molded to become a good citizen of God...nakz..I was a silent type person. Five things you will remember on me... Silent, Silent, Silent, Silent and still SILENT. I myself wonder why also???. Because when I meet new people, I just kept silent. Some say that I was weird because I was "daw" serious and not even having fun and hanging out with my friends. I was a "home boy" and lucky to say "hindi pa ko baliw." hehe. I usually read encyclopedias and Atlas when I'm alone. My professors always told that I was fit to become a priest someday...(because of my silent type character, hehe.).
