Mario
Mario is the main character of Nintendo. He has one brother, Luigi, and a girlfriend, Peach. He's a plumber and has been in many games. His first game was Donkey Kong, even though he wasn't called Mario. Instead he was called Jumpman. Mario has been in many games and I am sure he'll be in many more!
Luigi
Luigi is Mario's brother. He is taller and faster than Mario. He also works as a plumber and has a girlfriends named Daisy. He first started out as a player two, but then became more popular. He has his own game called Luigi's Mansion. He has been in almost all of the Mario games and I expect we'll see him in more!
Yoshi
Yoshi is one of the most favorite Nintendo characters of all time. Every where around the world people love him. I don't know what it is, his looks, personality, or charm, but whatever it is Yoshi has people under his spell. He first started out as an unplayable charater until Yoshi Story for the N64. Rumor has it he's going out with Birdo, but we're not sure.
Donkey Kong a.k.a. D.K.
D.K. was Mario's first rival. He is an ape that's super strong and can jump high. He has been in alot of the games but has only kidnapped Peach once (Bowser took over his role). Donkey Kong's best game is Super Smash Bros. Melee. I don't know anybody who likes D.K. but I'm sure there are some devoted fans out there. I think Donkey Kong has finally become a good guy..........I think.
Peach a.k.a. Princess Toadstool
Yes, this is the Peach that Mario loves. She is constantly stolen by Bower and eventually rescues by Mario. She's the kind of person who could get on your nerves easily with her high voice and constant talking. She might be related to Daisy though no body is sure. She owns a castle with like four stories and likes playing golf, tennis, and other things. One of these days she'll star in her own game.
Bowser a.k.a. King Koopa
King Koopa, better known as Bowser, is Mario's main rival. His first game in 3-D is the same as Mario's, Super Mario 64. His best game is Super Smash Bros. Melee because he's so big it's tough to throw him off. His main attack is to breathe fire. One of these days, maybe he will defeat Mario.
Wario
Wario is another one of Mario's main rivals. He's built similar to Mario but is a little bit chubbier. Wario thinks he's the best and will usually win in Mario Party if he's a computer player. his best friend is Waluigi, Luigi's rival. The game series he stars in is Wario Land, or at least that's the most well known. Maybe one of these days he'll join Bowser and defeat Mario for good!
