Bunker route "Hoekse Waard"
These pictures show you bunkers of the 1940 Dutch Stronghold Holland, known as "Vesting Holland" in the Hoekse Waard.
The Hoekse Waard is situated south of Rotterdam.
The route starts at the villages of Goudswaard->Numansdorp->Strijen-Sas.
On a lovely sunny day one can go by bicycle and enjoy the beautiful Dutch countryside as well.
Please note that the Air Watchtower, build on top of the River Casemate, is post WW II.
