(People-Men)
Adhirath was in the lineage of Raajaa Yayaati --> Chitrarath
(better known as Raajaa Rompaad). Rompaad was the same Raajaa who did
not have rains for some time, so he invited Rishyashring Muni to get
rains in his kingdom. As he came in his kingdom, the rain started. Later
he did a Yagya for him to get a son and married Rompaad's daughter
Shaantaa.
Adhirath
was Mahaaraaj Shantanu's
Saarathee. His wife's name was Raadhaa. They were childless. One
day he found a child (boy) in a box flowing in Gangaa River while he was
taking bath there. It was the same boy who was flowed by Kuntee.
He brought him with a great happiness and both brought him up with lots
of love as their own child. He named him Raadheya. Once he took him to Dronaachaarya
for his education but Dronaachaarya refused him to educate saying that he
educated only princes, but he was influenced by Karn's personality so
much that he couldn't resist to say - "Raadheya name doesn't suit your personality, your name
should be Karn."

to fight with him. Then Krishn and His son Pradyumn also came to take him. Here Shankar
Jee was the guard of Baanaasur's Nagaree, so Shankar Jee fought with Krishn.
Later when Shankar Jee got weaker then He requested Krishn to spare

Ghatotkach
(Raakshas)
Ghatotkach was the son of Bheem
and Hidimbaa. He was very
powerful and mighty. When Hidimbaa married Bheem, she asked permission
of Kuntee to keep him with her until she had a son. Kuntee gave this
permission to Bheem. So Bheem stayed with her for some time. At last she
got pregnant and gave birth to a boy. Then Bheem went away from there
and joined his family in Ekchakraa Nagaree.
How
Ghatotkach met his father? It is an interesting story. One day by the
order of his mother he went to look for a human being for the sacrifice
his mother wanted to give to Kaalee Devee. He found a Braahman family so
he asked them as who among them wanted to be the sacrifice? In the
meantime Bheem also came there and remembering Hanumaan's
words told him that all of those people were weak, but he could go with
him as sacrifice. "Who was going with him" was immaterial to
Ghatotkach, it should be a human being, that is all, so he took him to
his home and said to his mother, "I have brought this human
being." When Hidimbaa saw the man, she got very happy to see her
husband after such a long time. She introduced both to each other.
Ghatotkach also came to fight in Mahaabhaarat war and
fought very bravely for the whole day. At last he was killed by Karn
by the Power he got from Indra. So he also had
a full day in Mahaabhaarat war in his name as Abhimanyu
had.
