Lovell New Media is a provider of communication and media products
and services in three main areas: Multimedia,
Web and Print.
Lovell New Media offers consumers a single location to satisfy the
majority of their graphical needs at affordable prices. Our user-friendly
website provides customers with information about our products and
services as well as examples of previous work.
We generally provide our services to small/medium sized businesses
and home users, however we are more than happy to discuss opportunities
with larger organisations.
In order to custom build each product rapidly and precisely, we
adhere to a pre-defined project management approach and mutually-agreed
upon goals and objectives.
The business is currently solely operated by Peter Lovell.
About me:
Peter Lovell grew up in Adelaide, South Australia and graduated
year 12 in 1995 from Blackfriars Priory School. At high school Peter
recognized that he had superior computer skills with a flair for
creative design. In 1996, Peter started a Bachelor of Arts Majoring
in Multimedia studies. This course involved a broad range of subjects
in Computing and Arts/Culture. In 1998 Peter transferred to a Bachelor
of Information Technology to further expand his knowledge in the
Computing industry.
Peter's first industry experience came when he was offered a fixed
term position in Broken Hill, NSW, as Multimedia Programmer for
the Line of Lode Association. His job involved Designing and Creating
the Interface for three Virtual
Touch Systems (an innovative interactive display system) for
LOLA. Peter was also involved in developing a number of Web Sites
for local business in the city.
At the end of the LOLA funded project, he was been given the opportunity
to lease office space and computer equipment at the Line of Lode
Association. Peter chose to accept this opportunity, staying in
Broken Hill, to continue his alliance with the VTS technology and
develop his own business.
The Business was approved for the New Enterprise Incentive Scheme
(NEIS), which provided Peter with extensive business training and
a business mentor for 12 months.
At the beginning of 2003, Peter deceided to move back to Adelaide
and is now running the business from home with plans to gain office
space soon.
