The Spring Ball at the Heidelberg Castle
This is the cover of the program that was at each seat at the ball.
This tells a little of the history of Heidelberg Castle.  I know you can't read it like this, but if you click on it, or any of the following pictures, you can.
This page talks about the room where the ball took place in the castle.
We were served a wonderful meal of duck!  The Elder blossoms that are mentioned on this page are actually red raspberrys.
This is the actual menu showing the meal that we were served.
The music for the dancing was live.  There was even a soloist singer from Zambia, South Africa.  She had a different dress on each time she came out to sing.
We were entertained by the United States Army, Europe, Soldier Chorus.  They danced as well as sang.  They each wore their dress blue uniform, not what you see them wearing in this picture.
Here is the back of the program showing the number of the duck that I had for dinner.  Pretty weird, huh?
And finally, what you've all been waiting for, the picture of Mark and me that was taken at the ball.
We never even thought to take the camera with us.  There was a photographer there as well as a videographer.  I will try to get some of those pictures and add them to this page.
