To the world at large she was a new heroine who joined the JLA in their initial membership drive. However, only the Justice League knows that she was a robot built by T.O. Morrow and Professor Ivo to infiltrate the JLA and destroy them. Built from designs using the Amazo robot, the Red Tornado and posessing a special human-like brain, Tomorrow Woman succeeded too well by not only turning against her creators but by saving the lives of the JLA and countless millions of inhabitants. Using every bit of energy at her command she succeeded in shutting down the Implicate Field, a weapon captured by the U.S. Government from the Lord of Time. In the process she sacrificed her artifical life. Although the latest Hourman has revived her with his "hour of power" in the past, she is currently buried in a private cemetary along with the memorials to Metamorpho, Barry Allen, Green Arrow, Ice, The Justice Society of America and other heroes who have given their life in the line of duty.
