Economics of Globalization

The globalization of markets, restructuring of national economies, mergers, delocation and industrial sector restructuring, debt crisis, privatisation programmes, decline of the Welfare State, the deregulation, internationalisation of macroeconomic reform, new global financial order, the free trade agreements, the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the World Bank and the

world Trade Organization (WTO). This new course will not require a prerequisite, and will not
serve as a prerequisite to any other course.
