News Aug2001: At this time Whisper Tech is not that keen to sell
commercial DC WhisperGen's (WG's) into a market until we have set up agents
to provide product service and support. The DC WG is currently only
certified for sale in Western Europe (CE marked), New Zealand and
Australia and is being sold in Europe for an end user price
of about 27,000NGL
We have yet to certify the WG for commercial sale in the US and Canada.
We are intending to start looking at the US, Canadian and other markets
in early 2002.
We however are able to offer both the stand alone DC and the grid/network
connected AC systems as trial systems for a cost of NZ$30,000
(US$12,500) which includes up to 5 days of a Whisper Tech engineer to commission
and teach you about the system. Availability is about 3 months. The above
price of a WhisperGen trial system is ex works and air freight and insurance
is about $NZ1,000.
