New Shows - Fall 2001
Fall Season 2001

Ok, so the fall season has finally arrived and along with new episodes of all our favorite shows, there are some new shows that I felt deserved an honorable mention for tuning into . . .

Alias

Fall Season 2001

This show is about a young female CIA agent who’s playing both sides of the same coin as a double-agent . . . All while trying to balance a courseload of work in a graduate study program and keep her job secret from her close friends, since it’s already resulted in the death of her fiancé.  This show has a great blend of girl-kicking butt action and intrigue . . . Definitely worth checking out . . .

Sundays @ 9 on ABC

Undeclared
Fall Season 2001

This show I kinda stumbled across because it comes on after That 70’s Show . . . It’s all about these teenagers who are freshmen in college with mostly undeclared majors . . . And did I mention that it’s hilarious? . . . Based on the previews I didn’t expect it to be that great, but I was definitely pleasantly surprised . . .

Tuesdays @ 8:30 on Fox

Scrubs
Fall Season 2001

This show centers around a hospital and the med students who work there . . . And I know what you’re thinking folks, it’s not another ER rip-off . . . It’s actually a comedy . . . Somehow it manages to blend some hilarious moments with the sometimes drama of working with sick people into something that is just utterly enjoyable to watch . . .

Tuesdays @ 9:30 on NBC

Men, Women and Dogs
Fall Season 2001

This show is about four men, the women they date and the dogs they love (and walk :) . . . Some of the men are in relationships and some are doing the dating thing, but what makes it really worth watching is Bill Bellamy’s character, Jeremiah, who seems to hook up with someone different every week, but still manages to keep his single status (and comfortable commitment phobia :) . . . Basically a reprise of his How to be a Player character, but it’s still funny to watch . . .

Sundays @ 8:30 on the WB

Smallville
Fall Season 2001

Now I was loathe to mention this show because it comes on directly opposite another great show that I have been watching for awhile, Roswell, but I have to give credit where credit is due . . . This show about the teenage years of Clark Kent, before he became the S-Man, is truly intrigueing . . . They’ve taken a familiar story and added a twist . . . First the fact that Clark Kent’s arrival on earth brought with it an almost end of the world-like meteor shower that came crashing down on Smallville and killed Lana Lang’s parents in the process . . . And they also added a young Lex Luthor who starts off as Clark Kent’s friend but is destined to become his enemy . . . The special effects alone would make this show worth tuning into, but it also has a great storyline . . . So I’m not saying tune out of other shows to watch or anything . . . But maybe check it out between commercial breaks or something. . . :) . . .

Tuesdays @ 9 on the WB

Fall Season 2001

So overall I know there’s probably other good new shows out there that I haven’t mentioned . . . These are just the ones I took the time to tune into . . . So if anyone has any other new shows that they feel are worth tuning into, please let us know on the message board . . .
