Issue # 3 Spring 1999 Regardless of feeling the urge to "party like it's 1999", INEXPLICATA steps up to the plate once more (2 for 2 so far) with its first two issues having been well-received by the UFO/paranormal reading public both in print and on line. Our web page www.inexplicata.us welcomed its eighteenth hundred visitor last month, which isn't much by most website standards, but an amazing accomplishment for a specialty field within a specialty discipline like ufology. So, what does Number 3 have to offer? We kick off this issue with Luis Pacheco's article on the unusual phenomena seen over Patagonia last fall; Argentina has always been a UFO hotspot and remains to this very day a rewarding site for the serious researcher. Antonio Salinas contribution on the S.I.B. Betelgeuse's efforts at solving a particularly unusual multiple-UFO sighting proves that not everything flying over our heads has a Martian licence plate. In a similar vein, our intrepid contributing editor Manuel Carballal defies convention once more and blows the whistle on misleading saucer videos and outright hoaxes as well. If the great Charles Fort were still alive and clipping (no pun intended), Pilar Abeijón's report on the Galician fish-fall would have certainly earned a place in his files. Javier García Blanco's article on "Roadside Encounters" does for driving what Spielberg's Jaws did for swimming: you won't want to get behind the wheel! Pride of place goes to Josep Guijarro's stunning (and tantalizing) revelations concerning the existence of a high-tech cult lost among the thousands of islands of southern Chile. Is the "Friendship" an extraterrestrial outpost? A secret society? Nazi scientists flying UFOs out of South America? This is the only INEXPLICATA feature to end in a cliffhanger... Enough talking.
