Innovative Marine System products begin with construction grade structural steel framing members.  The exterior frame and bracing are designed specifically for loading well beyond that of competitive products.  Cutting, depending on the application, is accomplished by either power band saw or plasma cutters. This helps insure uniformity and allows for an improved finished product.

At left, we begin following a 5' x 50' custom dock through the fabrication process.  The side rails are cut to size and properly prepared for beveled fill welds.  This insures maximum structural strength.

Next, the cross bracing is cut to the same exact width and set in place.  Where necessary for flotation supports, the bracing is coped for the profile of the side rail steel.

Notice the framing at near right of photo.

Once the framing has been completed and welding has been checked for quality assurance, the frames are metal prepped, primed and then epoxy coated in the customers chosen color.  Vinyl decking is added and flotation is installed.
At left, is a prototype view of our exclusive (patent pending) Internal piling ring pocket.

This design allows smooth jam free travel over the piling, while providing clean dockage on both sides of your dock.  It's like receiving two docks for the price of one.

From prototype to integral installation into the dock frame.

Stress engineering allows for the internal pocket to be added without sacrifice to the frames overall integrity.  Success relies on accurate project measurements.  Something most dock manufacturers are not willing to do.

The piling roller assembly is manufactured from Ultra High Density Molecular Weight plastic that is self lubricating.  Testing proves that this material wears 5 times better than rubber or polyolefin.

The mount is cast / fabricated from High Strength Ductile Iron.  It is 50% stronger than welded brackets.

Offset "T" that will be attached to a 50' dock installed parallel to the shoreline. (see concept photo at bottom of "Flotation Docks" web page)

Whenever it is necessary to have an attachment between two or more dock sections, the attachment is made by a positive pin system.

Closely resembling standard hinges, the are fabricated from 1/4" wall tubing.  A self centering bronze bushing is then machined and driven into place.  A stainless steel pin is then used to complete the assemble.

This insures a quiet, smooth and trouble free installation the does not sacrifice stability or strength.
