At IMS, engineering is much more than sitting in a fabrication shop or office and putting together structural components.

Any stock dock can be manufactured and simply made to do an average job at giving you access to your boat.

Our engineering begins at your dock site. We will discuss your personal boating needs and the special considerations that are unique to your location.

Only after having a complete and thorough understanding of what best fits your needs could anyone hope to truly solve you dockage problem. There is No Charge for our site visit our custom engineering. It is part of our Mission and what makes our company Innovative.

Any product is only as good as the materials used to fabricate it. We are proud to include the best materials and associated marine products available in our dock fabrication.

In addition to high quality structural grade steel, MIG & TIG welding equipment and State of the Art Vinyl deck materials, "SuperFloat" Float Drums (billets) manufactured by Ace Rotomold.

The case is manufactured from virgin polyethylene resin, containing UV inhibitors and carbon black pigment to protect against ultra violet deterioration.

The encasement meets the "HUNT" falling dart puncture test and is compliant with the FDA title 12 requirements.

The interior is foam EPS foam bead and meets the "HUNT" water absorption test. Foam density is 1.0 - 1.5 lbs. /cu. ft.

For those late nights out or return trips from "The Bay", some boaters appreciate the added safety of having the open water corners of their dock protected.

We use dock wheel assemblies that are molded from non-yellowing, extra thick marine grade vinyl with sealed inflation. These will not scuff boat hulls.

The mounting brackets are hot dipped galvanized steel.

These are just a few of the products we call on to add quality and safety to our fabricated docks. Many more marine related products with equally strong credentials are available for inclusion on your dock project. Our strong association to the supplier of these products allow us to bring them to your manufactured dock at a fraction of the after-market costs typically incurred.
