As the player of Nguya, I have opted to enter it as what would
be called a "bad Guy" nation. It's being entirely different from
my original nation of Zaria is intently so.
I've been playing wargames for quite some time, and I am well
versed in many facts of WW2 history. I was also a "Dungeon Master"
and player in "D&D" which is an extensive role-playing game. I also
hosted a nation sim-site a few years back. It was not as popular as
now, but as a "game master" I understand the objectivity required to
color any game properly.
I hope that if anyone might get offended by anything this "rogue nation"
may put forward in the game, that they would contact me as a player first
before they post anything anywhere "in game."
Please keep in mind that Aurora, (as far as I know) is not simply a game
of tactics, but economic, and RP. If you are only playing one nation,
and you are "recognized" by one or another of my nations, you can expect
that secrets will not pass back & forth between. This would be a betrayal
of confidence, but also cheating. That would wind up with my being ejected
from Aurora, which is not something I would want to happen.
In the best interest of "fun," I would ask that if you do have a "secret"
plan involving one of my nations, I would suggest you keep it so (even
from me) if at all possible. I am playing to have fun too. Though as a
player of a "good guy" & a "bad guy" nation, you as a player may not be.
So perhaps you should consider which you would prefer to have contact with.
Nguya itself is loosely based upon Imperial Japan, with a Mao-like leader,
and the resources and manpower of Communist China. (!!)
I do like suprizes and unexpected events, so keep that in mind. In the
meantime, I am greatly looking forward to playing the role of megalomaniac
emperor in Nguya. I personally think there is a shortage of this currently
in Aurora. How much fun can be had without any serious "issues?"
Just remember, I am really not trying to offend anyone.
I anticipate more "bad guys" joining Emperor Itsuuyu Ttang Shao.
