It is funny the way we go through life each day thinking about tomorrow and not realizing it might not be there. Sometimes you just get to see things that hit so close to home that it feels like one of those real hard knocks on the head. I was watching one of my favorite shows on TV "Pensacola: Wings of Gold" and at the end I thought to myself, God! Please let Ice, Burner, and Spoon make it through. Don't let any of those writers kill one of them off because they want to justify what skipper just said about everyone not making it through. Don't get me wrong I know it's not real, but for some reason the thought of anyone else dying on the show scared me. Later I watched a touched by an angel episode where a woman had to learn to stop depending on her mother. I started to realize finally that taking today for granted is always a bad idea because tomorrow is always today. Think about it we never get to tomorrow because it always turns out to be today and yet, we always put things till tomorrow. It's no wonder we never get anything done, when we're busy waiting for tomorrow to come. We never get to say Thank You, I'm sorry, Take Care, I Lied, I trust You, and most importantly I Love You. Today is too close for us, we always need to wait till tomorrow or the day after next. For goodness sake isn't it about time we all learnt to make a decision and follow through without procrastinating. What is everyone waiting for, we'll never get anywhere if we don't get moving. I'm in college so the best comparison I can get is related to my classes somehow. A student's choice is usually; should I take this class this semester or the next, or would I rather take this exam or ask the teacher to let me take a make up later. There's no better time than now, the time is here and now, make use of it, what if tomorrow never comes, what if when you believe you're ready there's no one there to wait for you. A class mate I admire recently asked me why I wanted to take a year off school before going to Grad school. I gave all these excuses that sounded pretty good to me while I was saying them-- until she said and "are you sure you would want to return to school after that?"

Make use of today and all your regrets will be left in tomorrow; remember tomorrow never comes cause we always have a today.
