I'm using my home PC for now until I get round to buying the skeleton PC I intended to use for the machine.
AMD 3000XP
1GB RAM
Geforce FX5200
160GB hard drive space
Creative 5.1 AMP
I also use a master slave extension cable that I picked up from Maplin. When the power to the computer is switched all the other device, TV, Light, Amp are switched on using a relay. A nice simple solution to a common problem. It also works in switching everything off when the power to the computer turns off.
