A SIMPLE LODGE MEETING

Brethren, we often talk of time taken for Candidates raised to Freemasonry, is too short, Today. Yet, we must be sure that History does not disprove our conceptual beliefs. Take for example the following example, even if it is rare. It did happen.

NOTE: There is no suggestion that, what took place, is wrong. The point is that does it truthfully affect a Candidates understanding of Freemasonry, if that Candidate receives a follow-up of adequate education?

                    2.30 pm Nomination of Mr. John Kirk (Architect and Builder of new Lodge.

Moved to 2nd degree - Test Questions of Four Fellowcrafts.

Moved to 3rd degree - Raised, separately, Four Fellowcrafts.

Moved to 1st degree - Test Questions of Three Apprentices.

Moved to 2nd degree - Passed, separately Three Apprentices.

20 minute 'refreshment' break.

Pass a Fourth Apprentice.

Moved to 1st degree - Test Questions of Three Apprentices.

Moved to 2nd degree - Passed, separately Three Apprentices.

Moved to 1st degree - Ballot for John Kirk.

Initiate two Candidates, including John Kirk, so he can attend the

Consecration of the new Lodge.

W.M. presents to his Lodge, on behalf of Bro. Schlesinger, a new lodge Banner.

Read out Three propositions for Initiation.

10.00 pm Lodge adjourned until following Monday
