Going through the Singapore and Malaysia customs may
take much longer than expected during weekends or public holidays
and during peak hours (6:30 am to 9am and 5pm to 7:30 pm) due traffic jams
and long queues. The approximate time provided is just a guide based on
our experience and will vary according to the traffic conditions and the crowd clearing the customs.
As Bus 170 from Queen Street bus terminal (costing $1.70) will take about
1 hour to reach the Singapore Customs at Woodlands, we would recommend
you to take bus 170 from Kranji MRT instead which is much faster.

1. Board the bus 950 at the bus-stop opposite
Marsiling MRT.Keep your bus ticket so that you can board the bus again after clearing the customs.

3. At Woodlands Checkpoint, alight from the bus with all your
luggage and clear the Singapore Customs.

4. After clearing the Singapore Customs, go down the escalator
to the bus bay and board the next bus 950 by showing your bus ticket

5. The bus will travel across the 1-km causeway which connects Singapore

6. At Malaysia Customs, alight again from the bus with all your
luggage and clear the Malaysia Customs. Remember to fill up the
Malaysia Arrival and Departure card. The card is available at the
Malaysia Customs. The Malaysia Customs will stamp your passport
and retain the Arrival card. You have to keep the Departure card until you depart Malaysia.
