Since getting an apartment in New York City is so expensive I only ask for a 1 week deposit and the first week rent for someone to move into one of our share rooms. This way is a lot easier to rent a room. If you have a room and you asking $600 a month for rent then it would be easier if you ask for just $150 for deposit and $150 for the first week rent. But getting you rent pay weekly you can monitor your tenant a lot easier. For example if the person losses his/her job then you can only loss just a few weeks of rent which is better than losing the whole month rent. Also if you do the math the year has 52 weeks and 12 months if you get $600 a month for 12 month you will get $7200 for the whole year but if you get $150 a week for 52 weeks then you will get $7800 for the whole year. Which ever way you want I can still rent your room.
All you have to do is call us and give us the crossing street of the location of the room, when we have someone in our office looking for a room in your area then we will call you and give the information of the person looking for a room and if you are interested in meeting the person then we set up a appointment to meet you and see the room you have for rent.
