Heaton Design and E-commerce is a talented interactive print & online design firm founded by Chad Heaton. Our firm began to fill the gap in NorthEastern Washington for professional design solutions for individuals, businesses, and non-profit organizations.

Chad honed his marketing skills at Eastern Washington University, studying: computer programming, graphic design, technical writing, and public relations.

He successfully advanced his career starting with Goodale & Barbieri Companies working in Advertising and Sales with Cavanaugh's Inns and G&B Entertainment.

He then went on to work with WestCoast Hotels Bellevue, Downtown Seattle, and Portland properties in Design and Sales.

Then a tremendous opportunity for skills growth with the Bureau of Education and Research as a Marketing Specialist involved in graphic design, website editing, marketing campaigns tracking, audio and video editing, and employee training.

Then Microsoft came calling. Working with Help and Support for Operating Systems, Chad provided desktop publishing for Online and Print Help and Support Documentation and also created and presented a Training program for all writers, editors and desktop publishers on the new Template Structure for all Documentation.

Desiring a new challenge Chad relocated to NE Washington and went to work in Non-profit Management for Volunteer Chore Services and in the first year turned a very low producing Regional Office into the #1 office in the state for Service to 60 and under clients and the #3 office for 60 and over clients only being beat by King and Snohomish counties.

Being approached by the Director of the Tri-County Community Health Fund for help creating Marketing pieces for fund raising efforts lead to the creation of Heaton Design and E-commerce.
