Here's what Jessica had to say about Bonnie:
Bonnie is a white and black ticked retired racing Greyhound. She came to live with us because she wasn't quite fast enough to run in the track races - which is ok with us! Bonnie likes to sleep, and to stretch out her whole body! When she stretches all the way out, she is almost as tall as my dad!
Bonnie likes all kinds of food and treats. When we give her a pig ear, she paces around and runs around the house with it in her mouth before she finally eats it! She is really sweet.
Right now she is getting a new coat of fur. She had really fluffy, dull fur. It is shedding and she is getting soft, silky, shiny fur in its place. You can see in the picture that she has bare thighs. This is common in retired greyhounds and we have to put sunscreen on her or she gets sunburn!
We like having Bonnie as our pet!
