Great information. You look a little like our son but I doubt there is really a genetic link... you never know. Another son shares the name of his grandfather, Richard Thomas Blair, from Kentucky, I think. Also a link to the Hamms in Ohio.

Your information on the Casselberry's is very interesting. But you forgot to identify yourself and provide an e-mail address! Do you happen to have any idea who was "Dr. Castleberry" who had a set of pictures of Herman Opdengraeff's stained glass windows, from his 17th century house, in Krefeld? Plainly, he was of your family group.

Delighted to find your excellent website. My family is having a reunion this weekend in Manassas, Virginia. I had anticipated spending part of next week at the Library of Congress doing genealogical research. That need has been largely obviated by the ealth of information on your excellent website. When I return to my home on the west coast of Mexico next week I will contact you by e-mail. I think we have a great deal of Casselberry information to exchange. I look forward to learning if you have info mation on the connection between the Casselberry and Evans families...a relationship between the two names has persisted through 12 generations! Sincerely, Bill Casselberry CDR, USN-Ret

Hello. I am the Great Great Granddaughter of Eli Blair and his wife Ellizabeth who were from Sevier County Tennessee. They were each born in 1821. They were married by H.S. Blair. Eli was an officer for the Union during the Civil War. He also fought in the Me ican American war. His son Samuel (my great grandfather) settled in Huntsville, Alabama. Samuel's wife was Sarah Jane Howard. Several of his descendants still live in this area. Are we related? I would like to hear from you. Cathye Hendrix

My husband is the Mennonite (and the cook) and I'm the genealogist, so I visited several pages at the site and will forward the address to him. We have several Mennonite recipe books, and even had a baby sitter many years ago in Pasadena, CA from Corn, O - so some of the recipes from Corn's cookbook will go to that "baby" who is now 41!
