HUC MISSION
Hammond Unitarian Church promotes intellectual and spiritual growth through
acceptance, reason and freedom of expression.
Active outreach to local and global communities is a natural expression
of this growth.
HUC VISION
We bring the future into presence,
through listening to ourselves as well as others,
through building meaningful partnerships,
through leading by example by living our values,
through building a home that reflects our values,
through dynamic, diverse worship that honors ceremony and the passages of
life,
through the slow and thoughtful growth of our spiritual family.
Through the arts and through teaching, we nurture our families and give
our children an inheritance for the future.

We covenant to create and nurture our spiritual community of members and
