hello everyone. the time has finally come when we say goodbye as a band. Our LAST SHOW EVER, and CD RELEASE SHOW is Scheduled for JANUARY 27, a Saturday, at 5:00, $5-6 at THE GLOBE EAST(2028 East North Ave.). Playing with us is our long-time pop-punk friends I BELONG (hopefully with their new CD for sale), and The Gleanors from Whitefish Bay, plus another band TBA (Hilary's Victims?CCR?). We would have loved to have played this last show with our friends No Direction or the Supermints also here , but due to scheduling problems, they couldn't do it. BUT PLEASE COME AND HAVE FUN AT OUR LAST NIGHT OF EXISTENCE! YEAH!

Hey. FINALLY, for the first time in almost 2 years, there are...NEW PICTURES!!! Go, run fast to the Half Fare PhotosPage for new pics from the secret show. Half Fare played at a skate park on 10/26/00, where they announced that the show would be their last show ever. We decided to instead do a real last show, advertized, hopefully with our freinds I Belong and No Direction. It should be fun. The show that was supposed to happen on the 28 was postponned. If that ever happens, It'll be our second to last show, and recorded. Please vote for your favorite song NOW, and decide what songs we play! We have, also, just recorded a four song CD yesterday. The tracks on the CD are Without You, Trouty, This Close, and Don't Blink. We are making about 40 of them to give away and sell, as a little something for whatever fans we have to remember us by. Half Fare has OFFICAILLY unofficially decided to break up. What does this mean? Well, Half Fare is NO MORE. Tyler, Jake, and Tony are going to do something completly new, with some switch ups in the line up. But...we will still be in a band, and we see each other every day, so should we decide to start doing Half Fare again, whatever. We just want to do something different for a while. This new band, once devolped will Have a webpage, and this page shall remain as a document of Half Fare. It will updated untill it can be updated no more. hey. I'm sorry I haven't updated this page in a while. I felt the need to now becuase there's a lot of shit going down with us. Word. First of all, there have been rumors circulating that Half Fare is breaking up. That is absolutley, as of now, NOT true. But, due to some recent band meetings and such, we have decided, as a band, that we need to do something different. So for the next couple of months Jake, Tyler and me (Tony) are going to just be trying some different arrangements, writing alot, doing other projects together and with others, recording our new experimentations, etc. We have a couple more shows, but after that, we're just gonna have some fun together and see what happens. Who knows what will happen in the next couple a months? So, secondly, we have new shows! The first one is at Four Seasons Skate Park on Oct. 26, a Thursday, starting at 10:00, ending at 12:00. I think we're playing last, with CCR and Better than Nothing somewhere in there. It will be $3 bucks to see the bands, $10 if you want to skate. That Saturday, Half Fare strikes again in Racine(?) with Lockdown, CCR, The Stow Aways, I Belong, probably for about $6. Check back in a day or two for more info. yo. we just played the couch a couple of nights ago . it was real fun, but there was some real stupid shit going. A lot of unnecesary grafetti every where. Come on, if ou're going to go to a show, respect the place that's putting it on. The Couch is very leaneant on a lot of things, and it's a really nice place to hang, so lets not have a couple of fucking dickheads come in and fuck it up, a-ight? Also, there were sapossedly some anti-gay rights, nazi punks there, and some violence happening in the pit over really stupid shit. Let me just set the record straight: Half Fare is absolutly and completly ANTI NAZI, PRO GAY, ANTI RACIST, etc. I dont know why all of a sudden certain types of people are coming to our shows, but, hey, fucking grow up or your NOT welcome here, a-ight? But other than that shit, it was really fun. people seemed really happy with our set, and, as always, I Belong was fucking amazing, Sniffin Dog Ears was cool, and CCR was...how should I say? lets just put it as Raw. Hello all. There are updates all over the page. New stuff in the shows page. I fixed some broken links, and will be makin changes in the weeks to come. I'm trying to get more images up and running smoothly. We've got a new show. It's August 11 @ The Couch (located on Hampshire right off of Downer in Milwaukee). It starts at 7:30 P.M. and will be REAL cheap. Like, 2 or 3 bucks. The other bands, although not confirmed, will probably be Sniffin' Dog Ears or Why Bother?. The Globe show is over, and there was also a show at the same church in cedarburg with No Direction, Protocol, and Scottsdale. Half Fare played first. Nothing going on right, but possible shows soon, so be PREPARED!

Half Fare's new full length tape is out and can be ordered NOW! It is availible for two bucks ($2) and has ten all original songs. This tape is complety self realeased by the band. Number of copies are limited, so hurry up and get your copy.

Half Fare has three shows coming up. One is at The Globe Eastwith the bands I Belong and No Direction, on January 8. It will open at 5:30, and be five bucks. The Second is at Shorewood High School Auditorium, for Unity fest. Tickets wil be Five bucks, the date is in March. Half Fare will also be making another apearence at the Basement church in Cedarburg that they just recently played, date to be determined. Check back here and the Concert page for more info on time, dates, ticket prices, other bands, and all that other shit.

Half Fare will play at The Rave at an event called Indiefest that will start at 1:00 P.M.Half Fare is scheduled to open the festival. Ticketts are $10 a piece.

In two weeks HALF FARE will start recording another tape. Due to technical fuck-ups, the vocals on the past tape were way too quiet.Possible shows in July, check back for dates. HALF FARE has just released thier Five song tape in Milwaukee. Along with this, there are patches and stickers being given out for free. If you live in Shorewood or Milwaukee, your in luck. Otherwise, it sucks for you.Check back for possible audio clips from the tape.

HALF FARE is currently taking a week off to record eight+ songs for a tape that will distributed throughout Milwaukee. Also, HALF FARE will this summer is scheduled to play at a block party at the beganing of June, with more dates to come.

As of now, HALF FARE has 4 songs recorded for a demo that we hope we will self release, probably on cassette, possibly on CD, very soon. At least four more songs are planned to be recorded for this release, but since we have considerabley more songs than that, there might be others included. Check back for latest release news.
