This page features group pictures of our GSDs past and present. It's hard to believe we're down to only three now. We've had as many as six at one time. Each of them has his/her own page tabled below. You can also access each current individual page by clicking on the name above. The dogs are in order of seniority. Since Peto, Susi, Kessu, Jassu and even Pimu have passed away, Hukka is now senior dog. It seems such a short time ago that I posted him as a puppy. Seniority is very important to GSD's in a group. That's why I always try to show them in order. Their Finnish names are explained on their page.
Peto, Susi, Kessu and Jassu were show class GSDs. We loved them and they were part of our family. But, we recognized their deficiencies and learned the truth! The 'HIGH DRIVE' dogs, Hukka, Pimu, Hex, Jolla, Kely and of course Rene are true WORKING CLASS GSDs. There is a difference! To the uninitiated, SHOW CLASS does not mean they are actually show dogs. It refers to a type of ancestry. You cannot expect a show class GSD to have the drives of the working class GSD. They lack the genetic make-up. I won't go into that any deeper. We have strong opinions on that subject and acknowledge others do as well.

DISCLAIMER: We are true German Shepherd lovers. These are our non-commercial fun pages. We believe in choosing a puppy with the proper genetic make-up. We believe in proper training and obedience. We are not members of any certified K-9 SAR organization. We do believe a GSD requires a job or a simulated job and must not be "unemployed". Feel free to visit our commercial site. SAR Practice Mission: ATTENTION TO ORDERS! Kessu, Susi and Peto. Note the frisbee in Susi's mouth. I think she may have the wrong idea of which job she's supposed to be doing. Kessu passed away 1/18/1998, Peto on 2/5/2001and Susi on 10/8/2003. An era ended.

Yeah, they broke my knee. In three places.
The boys done it. They were running full speed, horsing around. I was throwing a frisbee for Susi. None of us were paying attention. They both weighed about 85lbs each. They hit me from the side at knee level at the same time. I went flying. Peto acted concerned. Kessu tried to get the frisbee that was underneath me. The Doctor said, "Classic linebacker injury."

Almost exactly six years later. PIMU Done it! Not really. She was involved. But, it was my own dumb fault. Thumb broken, ligament torn. Repair surgery was 6/23/99. For full story, see Pimu's explanation.	Who me? Accident prone?	"Does it still hurt, Daddy?"

Where's the high jumps? Peto & Jassu say this one is a piece of cake.
