| Monday Michiru grew up in the United States, but lives and works in Japan, where she has established a strong career as the only internationally successful female singer/songwriter to come out of Tokyo club scene. She has done many collaborations with Shinichi Osawa (musical brain behind Mondo Grosso). Her music is a mixture of jazz, funk, latin and dancefloor music. Michiru has also worked as an actress, as a journalist and as a radio DJ, but music remains her main focus. |
