1982 Preliminary Final
Glenelg 13.12
(90) defeated Port 14.5 (89)
One of the
GFC's finest wins. The Bays triumphed over Port
despite the antics of David Granger. This is the
infamous game that spelt the end of Granger's
career, and put the Tigers into the grand final
at the expense of Port Adelaide.

1999 Round 21 Glenelg 17.9
(111) defeated Port 8.13 (61)
Superb
weather, an almost pre-Crows crowd, the official
launch of the club history ("The Pride of
the Bay") and an unexpected belting
administered to Port Adelaide! It doesn't get
much better than that!
