Ever since the formation of the People section, this gallery has had no real direction. Oh well.
Pictured here is me, Gordon, the mastermind behind the GordeonBleu empire. I once had a personal policy of not posting any decent-quality photos of myself online. Rudely enough, I was still willing to post high-quality photos of everyone else. *Lonely laugh*

But then I changed my mind.

Living abroad meant spending part of my life in the air. I usually don't carry a camera with me on my flights, but when I do, I capture moments like this. Pictured here is a photo I took with an Olympus D-490Z digital camera at dawn over London from the cabin of an airliner. I initially thought "Lava Lake!" when I saw it. But then again, a day's worth of flying will do that to you.

People take sunsets for granted now, but I still haven't tired of live sky views. I caught the sunlight peeking out of the dark clouds for just a few moments during the late afternoon before it disappeared into the evening. September 27, 2004, Hearst and Gayley in Berkeley, California.

When I was in Torremolinos, Spain in June 2004, I took this photo, which made Picture of the Day at Sony Imagestation on July 5, 2004. (I'm user: gordeonbleu). It's now under July 4, 2004, strangely. Anyway, it didn't take much skill. I used the presets provided by the Night Landscape mode on my Nikon Coolpix 4300 while resting the camera on something steady. I was simply at the right place at the right time.

Although I've lived in four different places - Oakland Hills, Dhahran, Pebble Beach (dorm), and Berkeley (dorm), I still consider the Oakland Hills my home. This photo was taken with an Olympus D-490Z digital camera. For the panoramic photo that I took one block from this area, check out the "Home" section; link at the top of the page.
