Horse of the year 2003

Donavan is a extremely talented pony which an outstanding future ahead. Prior to being sold he competed up to 1.20m and was schooling easily around courses at 125cm-130cm. A pony with as much ability and an attitude like his is rarely come by. Donavan competed with Emma Power at the South Island Show jumping Champions where it was the 1st time she rode him, she finished 3rd in the pony Foxhunter and 115cm Birchdowns Championship class. Donavan is a very consistent pony that has many wins and placing's in his credit in show jumping, show hunter and hunter jumps.  At his second show competing in the show hunter ring he was the runner up National Pony Show Hunter Champion 2003. He was placed 6th in the Equitation class at HOY competing against approximately 50 odd  ponies. A much admired pony who will be sadly missed.
