Callaghan is a true gentleman and a pony that is admired by many. Prior to being sold he had racked up an impressive resume.  He was extremely successful across a wide range of events.  He was multi champion on flat and RTR, consistently winning/ placing in show hunter. Attended both Springston (85cm) and Southern Teams (105cm). Wins in Open Level eventing and show jumping to 1.15m.  As he was only 133cm, this was a great achievement for such a wee pony (he is full sister to Shazam, whom was tragically put down). Callaghan was 1st = in the 6 bar at Christchurch show jumping 1.40m in 2001.

Callaghan is now with Maddy Crowe (Canterbury). A wonderful combination where Maddy has been having a lot of fun and success with Callaghan. Maddy and Callaghan were in the Rakaia Pony Club Team winning the South Island Pony Club Showjumping Championships in 2004 and 2005.  They were also in the winning Rakaia Team at Springston Trophy 2004. The combination finished 3rd overall in the Junior section.
