Dexter was an awesome pony with all the character in the world. Was given a more than unfair and tough life in his earlier years causing a talented pony to blow. Saved by the nick of time from being destroyed and ended up being a trekking horse for a couple of years. We received a phone call in 2000 and bought Dexter for $200. Best $200 I've spend to date. Dexter competed successfully at 1.10 - 1.15m show jumping and training eventing before a tragic paddock accident which ended his promising career short. A much admired pony who had all the heart in the world to do you proud.

Dexter was by 'Bramhall Desert Eagle' who is the sire of the two Grand prix ponies Christmas Folly and Just Joe). We were lucky enough to have three ponies by this sire who were all awesome ponies which enormous talent. It was devastating to loose Dexter the way we did and a shame he was never able to reach his potential.  He will be sadly missed.
