Competiting at Horse of the year 2002, Show hunter of the year
Born on Christmas day in 1988, a great present indeed, very smart bright chestnut with white markings, who said right from the start "look at me. She has a real personality always expecting to be the centre of attention and makes sure she is. A pony that always has plenty to say about everything, she has a good set of lungs on her and uses them to make sure she's heard going into the arena. One in a Million pony, admired by many and will never be forgotten.
New Zealand Pony Club Championships, Cross Country and SJ phase, 2001
Folly is an extremely talented pony with an enormous heart. She is a delightful pony to have around. The only thing you had to think about going into the ring is to remember the course and leave the jumps up because one thing she wouldn't do is stop. She has been constantly winning/placing 1.20m - 1.40m including Grand Prix. She is multi champion in the show ring, show hunters, hunters and round the ring. Lovely dressage. Open eventer (105cm). She is a very consistent pony that is rarely unplaced in any discipline. She had a very successful 2000/2001 season, some of her results including
3rd in the Grand Prix Pony of the Year.
4th in Pony Show Hunter of the year, runner up in National show hunter championship.
Winner of the South Island show hunter hi points and winner of the New Zealand show hunter Hi points for ponies.
Winner of the ASH/SC/NO DC trophy for best performed combination during trails.
Folly's placing in the Pony of year competition was an outstanding achievement considering this was the best placing a South Islander had gained in this competition in over 20 years. She was placed very well in all her show hunter classes at HOY including several wins.
