Val Cooper, a thorn in many super-heroes lives, started as a member of the United States Government. From finding a replacement for Captain America, to forming the Freedom Force, as well as running and overseeing X-Factor; Val's character has changed a bit. She started wearing glasses off and on before the mid 90's hit. Now she is a full time wearer.
