Medical software I use on my Psion

Macro 5 is an essential freeware program which makes life much easier. It is initially difficult to get working but once up and running it is well worth it. I use it for three things. 1. The control-space option to jump back the the previous program used. 2. Having all my databases accessible from the 'extra-bar' interface. 3. Remapping the contacts button on my 5mx so it opens my old address data file instead of contacts.

Tomeraider is a database type program which lets you access compressed databases very quickly. I have the Medical Eponyms and the Paediatric database which is really a syndromes database. Useful when the consultant asks you about some wierd and wonderful syndrome or disease and you can come back with the specific gene defects and history of developments.

Drugs database from Jason Wolfe is an excellent resource which makes looking up drugs a breeze. The medical database is also useful, it has those bits of data that you may not use for some time but when you need them you just can't find them.

And of course MaxSACs... for a complete listing check out the medical sites below.
