LG VX4500 VERIZON WIRLESS PROBLEMS

THERE ARE SEVERAL TECHNICAL PROBLEMS WITH THIS PHONE.  YOU MAY BE IN FOR FRUSTRATION AND TROUBLE IF YOU BUY THE LG VX4500 THROUGH VERIZON WIRELESS.  LG HAS ACKNOWLEDGED SOME OF THESE PROBLEMS EXIST WITH THE VX4500, BUT THEY DON'T PROMISE THAT THEY WILL RESOLVE THEM VIA A SOFTWARE PATCH.  THIS PHONE IS LOADED WITH TECHNICAL FEATURES.  UNFORTUNATELY, IT APPEARS THAT THEY RUSHED TO GET IT OUT TO MARKET AND DID NOT TEST ALL THESE NEW FEATURES ENOUGH.  AMONG THE PROBLEMS ARE:

 

1. OCCASIONALLY, THE PHONE WILL DIAL A NUMBER THAT IS DIFFERENT THAN WHAT YOU EITHER DIALED VIA THE KEYPAD OR THROUGH ITS VOICE ACTIVATED DIGIT-DIAL SYSTEM.

 

2. OCCASIONALLY, WHEN YOU PLUG IN THE HEADSET, THE PHONE WILL AUTOMATICALLY CALL A NUMBER THAT AT SOME POINT YOU PREVIOUSLY DIALED OR RECEIVED.

 

3. IF YOU RECEIVE A CALL, ANSWER IT, AND THEN PLUG IN YOUR HEADSET, IT WILL DISCONNECT THE CALL.

 

 

THERE IS NOTHING MORE EMBARRASSING AND FRUSTRATING WHEN THESE PROBLEMS OCCUR, ESPECIALLY IF YOU NEED TO REACH SOMEONE RIGHT AWAY, OR IF THE PHONE HAS CALLED ONE OF YOUR BUSINESS CONTACTS.
