Barangay Liboganon: Award
of Excellence for being the 1st among the best.
The City
Voluntary Blood Services Program is Tagum City’s answer to the increasing
demand for safe blood. The 23 barangays of the city have been tapped
to increase its pool of regular repeat donors. Type AB donors have also
been organized. Through an inter-agency coordination, the CVBSP has been
outstanding in its endeavors that the Department of Health gave recognition
to the LGU through Hon. Rey T. Uy who was awarded Outstanding Local Government
Executive for his support to the National Voluntary Blood Services Program.
Barangay Liboganon was also given a plaque of excellence for besting all
other barangays in the region - the first among the best- in their accomplishments
for the voluntary blood services program. Photo shows the re-enactment
