What: A curse on the Boston Red Sox.
Where: Red Sox Nation/Boston Red Sox.
When: 1920.
Why: Harry Frazee who was the Red Sox owner at the time needed to get more money for his girlfriend's play.
How: Babe Ruth was sold to the New York Yankees for 100,000.

Ever since this the Yankees have won many World Series (26 to be exact) and the Red Sox have no rings to show for it. (In other words, they have never won a World Series after the trade of Babe Ruth. The last World Series win for the Red Sox was in 1918)
