That's how the story starts. Suspenseful enough?
With the death of Ikenaga Sonoe, a series of deaths & suicides over the past 5 years have been linked together. Intensive investigations by Eiki, a nosy insurance investigator & Ijou, a troubled detective only show one person........ Egi Tohko. Is she the real murderer or is she the victim? Is she truly innocent like she claims to be or is she simply a devil with an angel's mask that lures one man after another into her devious trap?

Comments/Afterthoughts: Ice World is the 2nd Japanese serial I had seen about murder. The first was Angry Innocence, which I think was a flop. One thing good about Ice World, it is not boring due to it's suspenseful plot, the writer very wittly leads you on, making you guessing the killer from episode 1-12 but in the end, you'll get a shock out of your life. I guessed 3 times and failed miserably. So am I the only failure? =p
Another attraction, yes you have guessed it right, the CAST! My ideal cast, my favourite Japanese guy and girl starring together! What more can I ask for. Yutaka and Nanako look fabulous in the show. Seriously, I think they match better than Nanako with Sorimachi in terms of look. Of course, talking about "special" chemistry, Nanako is better with Sorimachi =p
One thing I don't like about this serial is it's a bit confusing and I do not really understand some of the dialogues, especially Nanako's character's idea on love.
 

Fav Scene: The scene where Eiki and Tohko exhange gifts and the scene where they have their wedding photos taken. Both scenes are so sweet. Of course the climax is the one where they revealed the KILLER!!!

Fav Character: Hirokawa Eiki

Cute Element: None, this is a serious drama, nothing much to laugh at really.

Hate Factor: The lightenings. A lot of the scenes are so dark that I could bearly see a thing. I know it adds more thrill and suspense to the serial but.....not THAT dark?!

Worth Buying/Watching? YES if you would like some excitement, but be prepared to be confused by the show. 101% YES if u are a mega fan of Yutaka or Nanako coz they look very very good in the serial!!!

Interesting Point: For those who had watched GTO, still remember that gigantic poster of Yutaka in Nanako's house? Yutaka had been Nanako's "idol" in GTO, looks like she finally had the chance to costar with her "idol"
