I thought I would give you a
quick update on how the little stinker is doing...in a nutshell...simply
great...he has come through the trauma of shipment and being in that kennel traveling 10 hours without any effect whatsoever...pretty amazing. He and Coco are the biggest of buddies and he certainly doesn't take any guff
off of her. He is totally quiet in his kennel at night and somehow
manages to hold it all night--he has yet to have any accidents in his kennel. P.G.,

...Hi, Mom and Dad, sorry it took
so long to write...The first picture shows that my days are full. Dad
takes me on a 2-mile hike every day and I get to retrieve most every day as
well. So as tired as I do get, it only figures that I should be able to
relax in comfort on my parents' king-size bed??? The next picture shows
that my mom does not agree with my last statement. I now have my own bed
and I use it often; however, I do still get the king bed every now and then.
I'll keep you informed of my progress training my new folks. Tucker,

...We went to Cooper Black State
Forest and spent most of the day. Emmy got some work and did very well.
Today was the first time that she had been exposed to a real bird and she did
not hesitate to retrieve it. The hilly terrain did not seem to bother
her...what a great drive she has in her. She would still be retrieving
right now if I were still throwing marks. She is a much better behaved
dog and I enjoyed the training that we did today. L.W., Reevesville,
South Carolina
