Back to School

Each year we produce a back-to-school event for the children of the incarcerated through the generosity of merchants, manufactures and foundations. Each child that attends  receives a backpack outfitted with school supplies and a few surprises. We need volunteers and merchants to participate. This event is promoted to help these children have an even better school year.

Easter

This year and every year the staff and volunteers at Friends Outside produce an Easter Party picnic. Hundreds of children of parents who are incarcerated experience the fun of the traditional Easter Egg hunt to the excitement of pinita bursting with candy for all. The children, also, enjoy BBQ hot dogs and other spring time favorites. The program is produced by private and foundation donors and dedicated volunteers. Each year the event grows. Volunteers needed!!
